Following some simple tips can give a new life to your older and poorly performing air conditioner. Step by step AC unit maintenance tips:
  • At first, unplug the AC unit and disconnect power.
  • Take away the filter to uncover the cooling coils.
  • Drench the front coil of the AC unit with a cleaning agent.
  • Clean the filter with water or restore if missing
  • Put back cover and filter and restore power.
  • Plug in the AC unit.
  • Do again if necessary.
  • Shut the AC unit off and cut off the power.
  • Look over the outdoor coils.
  • Clean the outdoor coils if needed.
  • Rinse foaming cleanser away.
  • Reconnect power and check.
